Well, not so long ago I heard that Street Fighter IV, the latest series of this game is going to be released on PC. WoW, I was quite surprised. Having been a PC gamer for so long I know that there aren’t many fighting game for PC, especially nowadays. So, I guess it’s worth the shot

I finally had my hands on it about a week ago. The graphic is very very beatifully done, especially if you compare it with the SNES version But… I feel like I don’t have the right to give much comments on the graphic side. My computer isn’t well equipped for new games, so I have to set down most of the graphical enhancement options to be able to play it with playable speed

Anyway, I’ve been playing it for a while and it sure brings back the memory. As most of all the SF series, we can find all the classic SF characters in this game, plus other characters that sums up to 25 in total. The gameplay is classic, hey, it’s a 2D fighting game in a 3D era, what would you expect? They gave you the original special move, and 2 combo meters that allow you to perform 2 kind of super special attack for each character. It supports online feature using Microsoft Games for Windows – Live. I think it’s cool that we can fight anyone in the world anytime… But I haven’t try it, yet. Well.. I’m not sure if I will (or if I can), I feel a bit guilty for getting the pirated version of this game (shhh….) The worst part for me is the movie for each character story. I was hoping to get the same beatiful movie as the intro played before the game but instead it’s just plain anime, so not cool.

As closure, I would say this is a fun game. Great alternative if you want a fighting game in your PC. Who knows, it might help you control yourself when you feel like beating up someone hehe

Gamepad Xbox 360 ini ada 2 versi, yaitu wired (dengan kabel) dan wireless (tanpa kabel). Keduanya dapat digunakan dengan Sistem Operasi Windows (minimal XP SP1, kalau Vista sudah pasti ok). Perbedaan kedua versi ini saya rasa sudah sangat jelas Sementara dari segi harga tentu saja wireless lebih mahal. Tapi dari pengalaman saya mencari barang ini di toko-toko lokal (denpasar), versi wired jauh lebih susah didapatkan. Saya sendiri akhirnya beli yang wired, karena lebih murah, tidak repot urus beterenya dan saya juga merasa belum perlu fitur wireless saat ini.

Saya sendiri baru pakai gamepad ini sekitar 2 bulan. Beberapa gim yang sudah saya coba mainkan menggunakan gamepad ini ialah Fallout 3, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, Spiderman: Web of Shadows dan Prince of Persia (2008). Pastinya maen jadi lebih asyik daripada pake keyboard-mouse atau gamepad standard.

Sekedar sharing dari pengalaman, berikut beberapa alasan kenapa gamepad ini sangat layak untuk menemani kita bermain:

1. Banyak gim PC yang diadaptasi dari konsol Xbox 360, sehingga memang lebih cocok dimainkan dengan gamepad Xbox 360 juga
2. Presisi analog yang akurat dan stabil bila dibandingkan gamepad standard
3. Fitur getar yang bikin kita lebih merasakan momen2 menarik
4. Menghindari sakit bahu atau pergelangan tangan yang sering terasa bila bermain dengan keyboard-mouse dalam waktu yang cukup lama

Mengenai harga, memang lumayan mahal bila dibandingkan dengan harga gamepad standard. Gamepad Xbox 360 ini bisa dijual dari harga 300-500 ribu. Jadi, silahkan di pikir-pikir dan putuskan

This is my 1st corner goal (a direct goal from a corner kick) saved a few months ago when I play with dewa. I was using Manchester United when I made this goal, and dewa was using Arsenal. Ryan Giggs is the man who take the corner kick, he has great curve. The first time I used MU and had Giggs take the corner kick, I tried to pass the kick inside the box with a bit curve, but it ended up curving so wide flying out of the field. It gave me the thought to try to kick it directly to the goal, and it took me several corner kicks before I finally made one.

Tadinya sih ada temen (pak hen) dapet email berupa gambar yg bisa jadi gim dari temennya, terus disebarkan deh di kalangan kita. gimnya tebak2an nama band yg ada dalam gambar yg lumayan ruwet itu. tapi karena cuma dapet image, kita ga bisa mastiin jawaban kita bener apa gak. Terinspirasi dari masalah itu, gw jadi iseng bikin game-nya (flash application), supaya kita bisa nebak dan tahu jawaban kita salah apa bener.

sebelumnya gw udah pernah sebarin gim ini melalui email ke beberapa orang, trus dapet masukan masalah spasi dan tanda kutip dari nama band yg orang sering gak tau cara nulisnya. jd gw update deh biar gak terlalu strict meriksa jawabannya. sekarang gw upload lagi ke site gw. So, prove – How Rock R U!!? (^_^)

ps. sejujurnya sih, nama2 grup bandnya rada susah buat kita orang indo :p tapi coba aja deh.. hehehe…
