hari ini anter ri ke bandara, mau ke makassar, toba (ri’s elder brother) is getting married this week.

i perfectly lost my airport parking ticket and get a fine of IDR 30,000 (great!)

(.._) ditinggalin deh seminggu. jadilah gw penjaga rumah and anak2 (our dogs – sponge, arwen and giant) seminggu penuh. mudah2an semuanya lancar. bakal repot sih, tapi repot yang menyenangkan (^_^) ri chan… we’ll be waiting for your return (woof… woof…)

Kali ini gw mau share pengalaman gw menggunakan AJAX. Sejujurnya gw bukan expertise ajax ataupun Javascript, gw cuma pernah aplikasiin ajax dalam beberapa proyek gw. Buat yg blom tau AJAX itu singkatan dari Asynchronous Javascript And XML. Kegunaan utamanya ialah meningkatkan interaktivitas sebuah halaman, dengan melakukan transfer data sekecil mungkin antara browser dan web server di belakang layar (tanpa terasa oleh user). Mungkin lebih mudahnya biasa disebut tanpa refresh (load kembali halaman).

Merefresh halaman tentu saja akan meload kembali seluruh isi halaman tersebut dari server ke client. Hal itu tentu saja akan memakan bandwith yang lebih besar dibandingkan bila kita bisa meload hanya data baru yang diperlukan. Banyak Web Developer yang sudah pernah melakukan hal yang hampir sama menggunakan Frame/iFrame. Dengan iframe kita bisa meload sebagian kecil halaman web kita tanpa harus meload kembali seluruhnya. Kegunaannya memang hampir sama, hanya saja cara yang digunakan berbeda.

While i was riding my vario this morning,
this thought came crossing my mind.

Some people could easily believe things being told by others, some listen with doubt, and others doesn’t even care. Which one are you? What will you do when someone tell you new things? Things about themself, or about others, gossips, new technologies, testimonies, even their beliefs. Perhaps… you’re the one telling others your stories (^_^)

Now, let’s move on. Have you ever heard about two side of a story? You have two friends, they both told you things about your new girl/boy-friend, but their stories seem to dispute each other. Which would you believe? or perhaps you prefer your own?

reseh banget!

Gw kasih vario gw di servis ke bengkel pagi2. Jam 8 gw dah nongkrong di sono. lalu menitipkan my beloved vario untuk dipreteli oleh mereka. Servis rutin 6 bulan, beli serep ban dalem, ama komplain kenapa tuh motor oleng banget kalo baru nyeruduk lobang lumayan gede. Demikianlah gw kembali ke kantor untuk menikmati pekerjaan harian tanpa lari. Siang pun menjemput, tidak ada kabar dari tuh bengkel.

Tak.. tuk.. tak… tuk… Gubrak!

Udah jam 5! gw baru inget motor masih dibengkel! gw telp udah ga ada yg angkat. Walah.. gawat… Pertanda buruk nih. Melaju gw ke bengkel bermodalkan tebengan dari si tonce. Hiks… sudah tutup… Tuh Bengkel udah tutup dan motor gw nangkring disitu tapi kagak bisa diambil. Gw sempet kesel banget >:( masa tu bengkel kagak ada konfirmasi2nya sih.

Tonce pun kembali melanjutkan perjalanan pulang, meninggalkanku tanpa harapan. Akhirnya ku nyebrang cari angkot balik ke kantor. Rencana pulang cepat naek motor terpaksa cari2 tebengan. Untunglah ada hasto ;p hehe.. trims to. kapan2 gw nebeng lagi ya. Demikianlah cerita singkat vario ngumpet dariku semaleman.

NExT movie is Bean Holiday. Everybody knows Mr.Bean, and everybody knows how funny he is. I guess that’ll be a hard situation for this movie, since everyone goes to watch this movie would have great expectations on it, and so do we. Me and my girl both enjoy Mr.Bean series. So we watched this movie with great expectations. Unfortunately, we’re not as pleased as we expected to be. The movie was funny, entertaining, we laughed in many parts of it, but still something is missing. I’m not quite sure what it is, but I think this bean is not as bean as he used to be. He’s just a funny man, but not bean enough. Well, as I’ve said, It’ll be hard for him to maintain his well-known personallity as bean, or perhaps it’s just me with my great expectations. Anyway, this is a good movie, I’ll give it a 3 point of 5.

I watched 2 movies a few days ago. Since I watched them in the same day, I guess I’ll share them in the same post, too (^_^) We were going to watch bean at 19:30, but only the front seats are available. Watching from front seats is a pain it the a** :p being too close to the screen, your eyes won’t be able to focus on the whole screen, and you’ll also have your neck ache after it. So we decided to watch TMNT instead. Having walked around the mall, I remembered the ticket girl said something about bean played at 22:00, so I asked my girl if she would like to watched it after TMNT, and so we did.

Now let’s on to the first movie, TMNT is the abbreviation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’ve been loving them since I was a kid. I’ve seen the early 2 movies of TMNT which has also been brought to wide screen, but this one use FULL 3D animation. The movie started with a short introduce to TMNT. It also told that Shredder is dead, and Leonardo was sent to a training deep in the jungle.
